Said requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or later.

• First launch: wait for the included model to finish preparing, then record or import a file.
• No microphone input: check System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and enable Said.
• Interrupted transcription: reopen Said, select the interrupted document, and choose Transcribe again. The saved partial document is retained.
• Optional model download fails: retry when connected to the internet. The included recommended model can be used offline.
• Library location: Settings → Library → Reveal in Finder.
• Export: open a document and use the export menu for TXT, Markdown, SRT or WebVTT. Markdown includes saved notes.
• A library error appears: keep the existing files, including `documents.json` and `documents.json.backup`. Do not delete the library to dismiss the error.

When reporting a problem, include the Said version, macOS version, Mac model and the steps that caused it. Do not send private recordings or transcripts unless you intentionally choose to share them.
